The steps below can
reduce your shipping expense by up to $10 per unit each way.

GOAL > Reducing Turntable Weight by 15 lbs prior to
Shipping.
Step One:
Remove
the Turntable Platter
> 4.0 lbs.
Step Two:
Remove
the Tonearm Counterweight (the one with calibrated numbers on it)
> 0.5 lbs.
Step
Three:
Remove the 4 Turntable Audio
Insulators (turntable feet) > 0.5 lbs.
Step Four:
Remove
the black rubber Turntable
Base > 7.0 lbs
Use the dustcover, or a pillow,
and flip the turntable over and remove
the 21 screws.
Step Five:
Remove the plastic composite liner just under the
rubber base > 5.0 lbs
Now
if you do the 5 above steps you just shaved 15 lbs off the unit
and should end up
with just the aluminum chassis,
drive motor, and tonearm
section > approx 8.0 lbs
