ENHANCED MOTOR TORQUE

The Technics 1200 /
1210 Turntable comes stock with a starting torque of approx. 1.5 kg-cm
or about 1.3 lb-in. Some of our clients wanted more starting torque. So
we did it....we increased the starting torque by about 50% to nearly
2.1 kg-cm and 1.9 lb-in...thats simply amazing.....
But Why increase starting torque? Well the reasons are varied, but
include the ability to more quickly throw in a track and a direct
corralative increase in beat matching time as well as quicker return
time while scratching.

The Technics 1200/1210 Turntable Systems come standard with a Pitch
Range
of 8% of the selected Platter Speed, which can be either 33 1/3
RPM
or 45 RPM. Sometimes this Standard Range is not adequate for DeeJays or
Producers
who wish to push limits and be even more Creative with their Mixes, or
Compositions.
Technics has finally addressed this issue with the release if the all
new
MK5 and MK5G models, but what about the millions of us with the Legacy
Models
such as the MK2 and M3D... We have the answer with our Enhanced Pitch
Service,
which enables you even more control of speed. Speed Increases of up to
8.1%
- 12% of Platter Speed can be achieved.

ENHANCED BRAKING CHARACTERISTICS

For many deejays and producers, the creative use of Platter Braking can
and will set you apart from the pack. Depending on what Style of Music
you
play or produce there is a way in which to use the defined pattern of
Brake
to enhance your set. We can Custom Configure Braking to meet your
needs,
whether you wish to Platter to Stop Dead, or in any incremental degreed
fractional
rotation. We can even set your Platter to stop so fast it will Spin
Backwards!

Reverse on a TECHNICS SL-1200 /
SL-1210...?
These High Quality Mix Machines Reverse Switches are manufactured
in Germany from the finest components. There is absolutely NO DRILLING
into your Original Chassis, like some of the cheap Home Made Reverse
Switches which you might have seen a few years ago.!
Here is an overview of just how they work:
Lets say that you are playing a record in Normal Rotation and wish to
REVERSE Direction. Simply Double - Click on the START / STOP Button and
the Platter REVERSES. You now have the Platter going in REVERSE and not
only that, YOU ALSO HAVE FULL CONTROL OF PITCH!! Simply Amazing!!
Now you are going in REVERSE, to return to FORWARD
Rotation, Simply Double - Click on the START / STOP Button and the
Platter once again Rotates in the "Normal" Forward Manner...wOw!!
Now, keep in mind that you ALSO HAVE FULL BRAKING CAPABILITY IN FORWARD
OR REVERSE!
This is acheived by Single Clicking on the START / STOP Button as you
would
normally....
Now, we can't even begin to tell you just how amazing these are in
actual use, and we leave it up to You to use it creatively, but rest
assured that when you have this on your deck, there will be no
competition...You will be
in another League

When Technics redesigned the MK2 in 1998 and created the M3D series,
this was the single biggest system modification they implemented Well,
anyway,
Now we can remove the zero click on your Technics 1200 / 1210 MK2 Decks
so
they are silky smooth from +8 to -8 just like on the new 1200M3D's.

MK5's!
While we are inside your Pitch Control we will go ahead and Completely
Clean
& Deoxidize the entire assembly...just because we care...!

QUARTZ LOCK DISABLE

In our modern era, we are all
too
often, hostages to our own Technology. This is especially true in the
case
of the Quartz Lock feature on the 1200 / 1210 MK2 Models, because
whenever
the square LED (Light Emitting Diode) is activated and in the
Illuminated
"On" Posistion, the Quartz Lock Feature is Enabled. When this
happens
the Turntable Platter Speed is controlled by the Reference Vibrations
from
an onboard Quartz Crystal Oscilator, and IS NO LONGER CONTROLLER BY THE
MOVEMENTS
OF THE PITCH CONTROL. This means that you no longer have control over
the
Platter Speed, or Record Pitch. This situation is no Good!
We came up with a way to Disable this unecessary feature and the
results are nothing short of amazing!!
By disabling the Quartz lock, several important benefits may be
realized:
1.
You mantain 100% complete control over the Turntable
Platter Speed & Record Pitch
2.
There will be only ONE Zero
Point...just the Zero Point we set for you at True Zero
3.
No more "Dreaded Double Zero Points" in which 2 Zero points cause pitch
instability.
4.
No more "Dead Zones" (The area between -1 & +1 on the Pitch Scale)
note:
The QUARTZ lock feature can be reinstalled easily
if you should ever desire
this at any time.
• REMOTE
QUARTZ LOCK / UNLOCK SWITCH

It is also possible to install a "Remote " switch to activate /
deactivate
the QUARTZ lock just like on the M3D and MK5 series ... this switch wil
be
located under the platter and can be accessed and activated through the
pre-existing
hole in the turntable platter.
